Treat yourself
Well the school holidays are almost done; those of you who are parents are probably completely exhausted and counting the days until the children go back to school. Keeping a child happy and entertained for a full summer break is not an easy task, and I bet most of us haven’t even bothered to do the things we want to do?
So now is the time to spoil ourselves. OK, I don’t want to stereotype anyone by suggesting the ladies have chocolates and flowers and the men have some kind of new gadget toy, but what I will do is tell you about some of the nice things on special offer so your treat doesn’t cost you a packet.
Log on to shoppingvouchers.co.uk and you will find there is plenty there to treat yourselves with. How about Thornton’s chocolate? Suitable for every gender and age group, a box of Thornton’s says more than ‘I deserve a treat’, it can also say ‘Thank you’ to someone special, ‘Happy Birthday’ to a loved one ‘or ‘Just because’ because you feel like treating someo...

Great Computer deals
Last year Hewlett Packard cut 700 jobs at its factory in Erskine, Renfrewshire, but just yesterday announced that it is about to create 700 jobs at the same site.
Hewlett Packard is hoping to open an IT centre on the site, which already houses the sales and support operations for the company. It is believed around 700 additional staff will be needed to successfully operate the service, ensuring the same high service one would expect from such a large and well known company.
A third of Hewlett Packard’s revenue income is from PC sales, something which has a boost around this time of year. Some children starting secondary school or those off to university find that coursework and essays are easier to manage when written on a laptop. Research is easier when using the internet.
A sign of the times means children no longer head to the library when needing to find out information, preferring instead to log on to the internet where often what they are searching for...

This is the time of year many parents on a budget worry, the school holidays have the potential to cost a small fortune, and then of course there is the added expense of the back to school uniform, new clothes, almost certainly new shoes, this is not to mention books, pens, pencils and bags… it all adds up.
Of course there is one place you can head to that helps to ease these costs just slightly and that is shoppingvouchers.co.uk. The site is packed full of special offers, money saving deals, money off discount codes and printable vouchers.
A quick search using the term ‘school uniform’ brought up a surprising result, Debenhams, not usually thought of as a shopping place for those looking to save money, but on this occasion they may be able to help.
Up until the 5th September Debenhams is offering up to 50% off gingham school dresses and up to 40% off Ben Sherman school uniforms. There are also many deals ending on 25th August including up to 70% off footwea...

Be prepared for your special day
Online and retail wedding firm Confetti.co.uk yesterday went into administration leaving many people wondering how this will affect their big day. The company was bought out just 4 days previously, but this does not appear to have made the fate of the company any better.
They are hoping to be sold as a going concern, but all of its 5 shops have already been closed causing redundancies, just the online staff remain. Outstanding orders are hoping to be filled form stock available, but nothing is guaranteed. It is just yet another business falling foul of hard times in the economic downturn.
For those trying to make plans for their upcoming nuptials, maybe even some of you were considering using Confetti.co.uk, never fear, Shoppingvouchers.co.uk can help you. All you need to do is log in to the site and type wedding into the search bar. There are some fantastic offers to be found.
Ernest Jones has some great value offers on their jewellery at the moment, so if ...
