Company History

Currys was founded in 1884 by Henry Curry when he started to build bicycles in his shed in Leicester, he then went on to open his first shop in 1888 and by 1897 the business had grown and he formed partnership with his sons calling the company H. Curry & Sons and in 1927 it was floated on the stock exchange. In 1984 Currys was taken over by the Dixons group, and in 2006 all Dixons stores would be rebranded as Currys making the store count 550. Since then the brand continued to grow in store and online as is one of the UK?s biggest electrical retailers.

Delivery

Delivery at Currys is free for most orders if you are happy to have an all day delivery slot, however if you wish to select a two hour slot for delivery the cost will be £9.95 for a single large item, additional large items will be charged at £6 per item. Orders for large items will be delivered within 4 working days and for smaller items it will be within 3 working days. Often Currys will offer free delivery using one of the Currys voucher codes so be sure to keep a look out for those.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your order in any way you can return it for a refund or exchange within 21 days if the items are unopened and in their original packaging. Goods that have been opened are entitled to a refund within 7 working days. Simply take your item along with your proof of purchase to your local Currys stores or click into the customer service pages online for alternative options. Refunds will be issued using the same method of the goods paid for and orders purchased using a discount code will be refunded based on the promotional price.
