This offer 40% off offer is a scam, because I was told on the phone that it only applies to items that are not already reduced (usually 25%off). There are NO online items that are not already reduced!

Hi Carol, I just tried the code on "Raspberry Ripple Bath & Shower Gel", which already has £1 off and the code worked fine, it took another 60p off.

Hi Mike B,

I attempted to purchase 3 bottles of your new oils offering 25% off on site. As I began the checkout process I failed to get the whole 40% offered to me by email. So I phoned your land line contact, who told me that the extra discount was not available on anything which already had an online discount attached.

I returned to your site and clicked on literally every item, only to find that all items were discounted ... so effectively the 40% discount was not available on any item, not just the ones I was trying to order. I was naturally annoyed both by the contradiction and by the time I had to waste trying to understand the real situation.

I have previously been very happy both with the products and service from Body Shop and have ordered many items online without problem. This time however I feel that the apparent offer was very misleading, whether deliberate or accidental!
