Summer's Here!

Holiday planning has never been easier, what with booking online to get bigger discounts and certain websites offering discounts on various travel options from hotels to flights there is no better time to travel. Plus, for those thinking of going on holiday to a Eurozone country will be getting the current added benefit of the weakest euro exchange rate for over 12 months.

So for those of us who can’t afford to rent at $350,000 a week yacht to head off to St Tropez or some other such celeb haunt, there is a lot to take into consideration. There are always 3 for the price of 2 offers on at Boots so take advantage, get some money off and stock up on sun tan lotions, insect repellent and toiletries for that bargain trip abroad.

I have to say my personal favourite, (although it isn’t for everyone) is charity shops. Often items are brand new and have been donated to the local charity shop unworn. I mean, we have all done it haven’t we, bought a top that looks gorgeous in the shop, get it home and its the most hideous thing ever, or so smart you never go anywhere suitable to wear it? You keep it in the wardrobe and think well I might do one day, but you never do, and 12 months later it’s still hanging there with the original tags on.

Well grab a bargain, 50p here, £1.00 there. You are getting some quality stuff to wear for your bargain getaway, plus the added benefit of helping out a charity too. Charity shops are not just for clothes, you can get some excellent holiday reading material for a fraction of the cost when brand new, and once its read donate it back to the charity shop so someone else can enjoy!
